Last updated: December 10, 2024

1. Introduction

Overdrive ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Google Drive management service.

2. Information We Collect

Google User Data

Our application accesses Google User Data solely for the purpose of providing file management features. Specifically:

  • Drive Metadata: We read file names, sizes, types, and permissions to visualize your storage usage.
  • File Management: We only trash or delete files when explicitly instructed by you via the "Clean" tools.

We do not store your file contents. We mostly operate on metadata. Any file content read (e.g., for duplicate detection) is processed in-memory and not persisted to our databases.

3. Data Retention

We cache file metadata (snapshots) in our database to improve performance and provide historical analytics. You can request full data deletion at any time by contacting us or deleting your account.

4. Limited Use Disclosure

Overdrive's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Contact Us
